<p>The circle gif module (<a href="http://wiki.nginx.org/NginxHttpCircleGifModule">http://wiki.nginx.org/NginxHttpCircleGifModule</a>) config file is a good example for this.</p>
<p>It tests that image magick is present, and compiles with it.</p>
